Last Order Of Business

For my last duty to this nursing sim is to animate chest compression, due to lack of communication my initial thought was to use the nurse file to animate but what didn't know was that my teammates was using a different camera for the compression, so i had to model some arms and hands and animate the chess compressions.

Female Patient

Hello inter-webs just another day at the nursing sim its the female rig this time. Still using the biped rig, it so much easier. could ve chose the simple hair style. 

Learning About Unity Part 2

Found another way to generate normal maps and its right in unity. First of all what are normal maps? Normal mapping is   is a technique used for faking the lighting of bumps and dents – an implementation of bump mapping. It is used to add details without using more polygons.  What i did was duplicate the texture map so i would have two of the same texture maps. Rename one of them so you can tell the difference. Click on the rename texture map and change everything you see below or to your liking. Click on the object you want the material on and make sure the shader on bumped deffuse.

Still lerning about Unity

how it going internet after, taking a break from the animating side of things i decided to jump back in to unity and play with their particle systems. We didn't have to have water coming out of the sink but we needed a place holder for water and is what this is. I basically used the shuriken particle system and started to mess with the settings. 

Male Patient Ready To Go

After i was finish with the patient i realized that he was little bit blocky. I didn't want to send it to a sculpting program, it would of been too late any way. Since unity don't like turbosmooth that much i decided to fool unity and collapse the turbosmooth into an editable mesh.

GUI 95 Style

win95, I Suppose I made an attempt to create a GUI texture for the user interface we were going for an old windows 95 OS look, don't ask why. comparing it to other pictures of the the old interfaces online i came close but the color was off. Think I was still thinking about windows xp. lol

I Chose You! Starting the Next Project

Today in class we got into two groups. both groups had to make a choice of two games, nursing simulator or a game for children that deals with building good relationship with the local police. with the nursing sim you a head start already made assets and a game plan to go on. While the other game you basically have to start from scratch. So you know we had to go with the nursing sim. i chose you nursing simulator

Lerpz Finally Excapes :)

and he's off.... Hello, again people of the internet, D'Merro is my name and kicking Lerpz but is my game, with a little help of course from my instructor. Remember when i couldn't get the spaceship animation clip to play so it could end the game. Well my instructor realized that the animation clip wasn't on the right spaceship prefab. Noob Moves!!!

Lerpz Crazy Cutscene

Lerpz's Ship that was supposed to take off hello internet and its another day at the office working on Lerpz. The second cut scene where Lerpz's spaceship takes off once the player touches the spaceship to end the game doesn't go any where it just stay there. 

Lerpz Week 3 Cutscenes

Impound Fence So in the game of Lerpz you, the character, are supposed to collect 20 power cells scattered all throughout the map, while fighting off evil robots to get to your ship to escape. Once you have collected 20 power cells a cut scene appears, showing your space ship trap inside a fence, that began unlocking itself. The first cut scene was easy but the second cut scene,which was supposed to watch lerpz and his ship fly off and escape.

Lerpz week 2

Week two of the Lerpz project and every thing going well so far. had a couple hiccups with colliders on the player. Seems like every time I start the game the player falls thru the map. After few noob moves i realized that the collider component on the player was below the player's feet.

Today I 've started the Lerpz project. The first project of CSG 115 this project basically give us an overview of the tools in the unity engine. the project is a game with pre-made assets and some scripts we have to put together in unity using the tutorial, because were noobs, to make a working game.
