dip in to Mechanics Round 2

Since the mechanics team still has task to be completed and I needed task to complete so i jump on another enemy with another person who was also on level design. Two level design people working on a mechanics type of task should be interesting. I learn a lot about the process of making enemies just collaboration with other people and asking questions.

The Reaction Icon  While more play-testing one of our teammates wanted to test a new mechanic he thought of. Reaction is the name of the proposed mechanic. What it does when its played, which could be at anytime, could affect the player that the card is against.

Gearing up for the end of the final sprint majority of the team was playtesting the couple of scenarios. I had a Beta which one of the new races in this mod. I had to roll for my stats which turned out pretty good.

Playtesting Outside the Building

Another way to get feedback on your game is to have other people other than you and the team play the game. I had a couple of people, who don't play table top games that much, play the game with each other. What I notice when watching them is that the stun mechanic was occurring more than we'd like it to happen which slowed the game down. When the team had the meeting most of the problem exist in rest of the team's play-testing. We had to change how long the stun last and add some remove stun effects to some of the characters, equip and item cards.

Mechanics: DND enemies

in this task that I took on was pretty much attempted to come up with the numbers for the elf wizard guard. after one of the mechanics guys go over the enemy i did so questions arose on how I got those  numbers. I believe my numbers were off a little bit and not reading all the steps in the monster manual didn't give me a clear understanding of the process.
